My story
Next to fashion and ceramics, photography is also a great passion of mine.
My father bestowed his love for analog photography upon me. He always wanted to capture precious memories during our summers at the French coast. I started photography by taking pictures of my friends, family and the everyday life with his old Nikon Fe from 1978. Many films were filled with adventures of travels, together and alone. I love to tell my story by taking analogue pictures. While taking pictures with my old analogue camera I imagine myself in a dreamy world where I can let go of the rushing daily life and travel back in time. People, scenery and feelings are intertwined to create harmonious moments. Once I started, I never stopped and even turned it into my profession.
I am currently making analog pictures in intimate settings; pregnant women, family portraits, small weddings and fashion shoots. To get the best results I love to move around freely and try to drift away from beaten paths once in a while.
All the pictures of this website are taken by me Rozemarijn ten Broek (also known as Roosanaloog), and mostly analogue. In particular all the bows, winter hats and some scarves have been shot with my analogue camera, feel free to take a look.
